Eagles vs. Vikings Could be Blacked Out in Minnesota Area
The first round playoff game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings could be blacked out in the Minnesota area if the game is not sold out.
As of 5pm EST, there were still 3,100 seats available for purchase to see the Vikings host the Eagles in round one of the playoffs.
This is almost as embarrassing as seeing thousands of empty seats at Dodger Stadium for game five of the NLCS in the fifth inning.
If the game does not sell out by roughly 3pm on Saturday then the NFL will have to black it out on television in Minnesota and the surrounding areas.
The NFL already gave the Vikings an extension to sell out the game but so far it hasn’t worked.
