Game Day

Published by Jim Vassallo at 4:43 pm under Games, General Football, News and Notes Edit This

It is game day in Philadelphia and the Eagles are prepared to host the 4-9 Cleveland Browns at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Birds are coming off an impressive 20-14 win over the division rival New York Giants and are looking for their third straight win overall.

The Eagles did not receive any help from the rest of the NFC on Sunday in terms of the playoff race, which means winning this game has become even more important than it was on Saturday.

The Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys all won, which makes tonight’s game a must win for the Eagles.

If they lose this game they will be all but done for the 2008 season.

After hosting the Browns the Eagles visit the Redskins and then host the Cowboys to finish the 2008 campaign.
