One Day Away

Published by Jim Vassallo at 5:21 pm under Games, General Football, NFC, News and Notes Edit This

We are one day away from the Eagles hosting the Arizona Cardinals at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Birds will be hosting the Cardinals on Thanksgiving night, more than likely amongst a rain of boos.

Why?

Because this team is embarrassing to say the least. They are 5-5-1 on the season. Yes, they have tied a game this year.

It was a couple of weeks ago against the lowly Cincinnati Benagls.

Donovan McNabb was named the starter at QB for the game after he was benched for the second half of the 36-7 loss to the Ravens on Sunday.

We shall see what tomorrow brings for the Eagles and their fans. Will they salvage the season and their pride with a win or will they fade into the sunset as losers?

More than likely the latter.

There is no chance that the Eagles can make the playoffs because of their record and the remainder of the NFC. Why not just get this season over with as soon as possible?
