Can the Defense Do It?

Can the defense do it again?

Can the defense hold the Ravens from scoring too many points so the Eagles offense has a shot at winning this game on Sunday in Baltimore?

It is tough to tell. The Eagles defense has played extremely well at times this year but has also struggled at times this year.

The main problem with this 5-4-1, 2008 Eagles team is the fact that the offense takes way too long to get revved up and score points.

If McNabb and company can actually start the game on a roll than this Eagles team should be able to knock off the 6-4 Ravens, but don’t count on it.

This is game 11 for the Eagles this year and there haven’t been many where the Eagles offense got off to a quick start to take some pressure off the Eagles’ defense.

The defense is going to have trouble in this game, but will be able to pick off at least two of QB Joe Flacco’s passes but it might not be enough for the Eagles in the end.

This game is another loss for the Birds and it will effectively end the season for Philadelphia.
