McNabb a Moron
I am officially embarrassed to call myself an Eagles fan.
Why?
Donovan McNabb, an NFL quarterback, doesn’t know the rules of the game and blatantly made sure the rest of the world knew that Sunday.
McNabb, following the Eagles’ 13-13 tie with the Bengals on Sunday, said he did not know that NFL games could end in a tie.
He went on to say that he hopes the situation never arises in the playoffs or in the Super Bowl.
McNabb also said that if he had known that the game would be over after only one overtime quarter, he would have played harder and made more of an attempt to win the game.
McNabb was not the only Eagle to forget the rules.
I am sick and tired of the excuses. McNabb and the rest of the offense are completely out of sync and no one has any answers. None at all. This is inexcusable and it is a shame that Jeffrey Lurie doesn’t care to fix any of it.
Not only does McNabb deserve to be flown out of town but he should take his buddy Andy Reid with him. I am can’t stand the blame game with Reid. All he does is blame himself. If I kept telling my boss each week that the failures were my fault and no one else’s I would have been fired a long time ago.
But somehow Reid continues to see life in the coaching world.
And so does McNabb.
The Eagles are done in 2008 and I hope the fans begin incessant booing at the remaining home games. Why don’t we start chanting ‘Let’s go Phillies’ like Eagles fans chant E-A-G-L-E-S at Phillies games before they won the World Series.
What have the Eagles ever won? Nothing. Nothing at all. This season is getting ready to turn into even more of a disaster than it already is and McNabb will be at the forefront for all of it.
How do you tie the 1-8 Bengals? How is that possible? This is absolutely embarrassing.
Admit it Lurie, you are jealous that the Phillies got the monkey off the city’s back first. Just admit it. And admit that you have kept your quarterback and head coach for way too long.
I hope everyone is ready for Kevin Kolb, because it is about time he saw the field. I hope Kolb has paid attention during practice this season.
Reid taking the blame each and every week for everything that goes wrong is getting old. For once, blame the players. I know that a coach controls the play calling and managing the clock, which are not Reid’s strong suits, but the players have to execute as well and neither sides are getting the job done.
It is time for a change under center and behind the headset and playbook. This team will go nowhere with Reid and McNabb at the helm.
