Beware the Bengals

Published by Jim Vassallo at 10:27 pm under Games, General Football, NFC, News and Notes Edit This

Everyone knows the story of the 2008 Bengals.

They are 1-8 on the season and could be the laughing stock of the NFL if it weren’t for the winless Detroit Lions.

But these Bengals aren’t all they are cracked up to be. These Bengals can be dangerous.

Why?

Because these Bengals have nothing to lose. Absolutely nothing.

Chad ‘Ocho Cinco’ Johnson can still be dangerous and so can the Bengals defense.

The Eagles, from the first person on the roster to the last person on the roster, cannot take this team lightly.

Yes, the Bengals are a team the Eagles should beat and should beat handily. But if they overlook them, things could get ugly and get ugly fast.

So, if the Eagles take it one play at a time, stay under control and play a sound football game, they should be 6-4 after Sunday’s game.
