Needing a Jump Start
The Eagles need a jump start and they need one fast.
With the Birds loss to the Giants on Sunday night, the Eagles dropped their record to 5-4 on the season, and are becoming more and more in danger of missing the playoffs.
The Giants are now 8-1 and are running away with the division en route to a run at defending their Super Bowl title.
The Eagles need a jump start and they will be facing the perfect team for just that this Sunday when they travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals.
Cincinnati is 1-8 on the season and in last place in the AFC North. The Bengals are just what the doctor ordered for the struggling Eagles.
If they somehow find a way to lose this game their playoff hopes would all but be destroyed as their record would plumet to 5-5.
The Eagles need to win this game and then focus on the next one. They cannot get caught up in scoreboard watching or worrying about the remainder of their schedule. They need to take each game one game at a time and no more.
This jumpstart could catapult the Eagles into a season saving winning streak, which they desperatelty need right about now.
