Pro Bowl Voting Begins

Published by Jim Vassallo at 11:45 pm under General Football, News and Notes Edit This

Not a lot of people around the NFL, fans included, care about the Pro Bowl. Some of the players don’t even care about the game?

Why?

It is just another way to get injured in a game that doesn’t matter, like having four preseason games.

The Pro Bowl occurs a week or two after the Super Bowl, the final game of the NFL season.

The game consists of stars voted in by the fans from each conference. It is the league’s All-Star game. The NFL is the only league to hold their all-star game following the conclusion of the regular season and the playoffs.

Most players back out of the game because they are already injured and some back out because they do not want to risk an injury that could affect their status to play in the following season.

Each league’s head coach is the coach that lost in the conference championship game earlier that season.

Well, Pro Bowl voting has begun for this year’s game and Eagles fans should cast their ballot now to get their team well represented in this year’s game.

Even though this game bears not much interest to the fans or even the players involved, it is still an honor for a player to be named to the Pro Bowl.
