Smith Out Sunday

Eagles tight end L.J. Smith will miss Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks due to a concussion he suffered last week in the team’s win over the Atlanta Falcons.

Smith was hit in the head, on a helmet to helmet hit, even though he didn’t have the football by Falcons defensive back Lawyer Milloy.

Milloy was penalized with a personal foul and Smith was able to walk off the field under his own power at first but then had to be held up while being helped off the field.

He did not return for the remainder of the game.

Smith has missed practice all week and is out for Sunday’s game against Seattle.

The Eagles are visiting the Seahawks Sunday and are looking for their third straight win of the season after winning back to back games for the first time all season when they defeated San Francisco and Atlanta in their previous two games.
