Westbrook is Back!!

Eagles running back Brian Westbrook is back.

He picked up over 200 yards total from scrimmage on Sunday in the Eagles important 27-14 win over the visiting Atlanta Falcons, leading them to victory.

Westbrook did it all. He ran the football, he caught the football and then ran with it and when needed he blocked oncoming defenders to give quarterback Donovan McNabb more time to find an open receiver down field.

Westbrook was having a tiny bit of trouble getting healthy earlier in the season and missed a couple of games due to ankle and rib problems but seems to be back on track and in the fold.

He posted a career high for rushing yards in one game with 167 en route to the win.

If Westbrook can remain healthy for the rest of the season along with McNabb and Curtis, then the Birds have a decent shot at making a move in the crowded NFC East.
