27-14 Win
The Eagles are now 10-0 under head coach Andy Reid following a bye week. With their 27-14 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field the Eagles improved their record to 4-3 and grabbed their coach’s 100th career coaching victory, all with the Eagles.
Brian Westbrook and Donovan McNabb took over the game and dominated the Falcons defense from the start of the game to the end of the game.
McNabb picked up his first rushing touchdown of the season and his first since the 2006 season.
Westbrook accounted for over 120 yards of total offense from scrimmage for the Eagles and Kevin Curtis picked up a couple of catches in his first game back from sports hernia surgery.
He missed the first six games of the season.
The Eagles defense had all of the answers for everything that the Falcons offense threw at them. They held quarterback Matt Ryan to only two touchdown passes, both to Roddy White.
Michael Turner couldn’t get much going on the ground either on Sunday and the Eagles were able to knock off the Falcons by a score fo 27-14.
Both teams are now 4-3 on the season.
