Falcons Sunday
The Eagles host the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday and are looking to jump above .500 with a win.
The Birds come into the game with a 3-3 record after a win in San Francisco the week before the bye week.
They are still very much alive in the NFC East standings as the Dallas Cowboys have lost three of their last four games and the Giants were embarrassed by the Cleveland Browns two weeks ago.
The Washington Redskins also have fallen back a tiny bit in the division.
Under head coach Andy Reid, the Eagles are 9-0 the week after a bye week and are looking to make it 10-0 with a win over the Falcons this Sunday.
The key to the game is stopping the running game of not only running back Michael Turner but also quarterback Matt Ryan.
Not only has Ryan been dangerous with his arm as a rookie but he has also shown his ability to run the football when he needs to.
If the Birds can stop the run and limit Ryan’s efforts at quarterback, then the Eagles should be able to pick up their fourth win of the season.
