Curtis to Start Sunday

The Eagles hinted at the possibility that injured wide receiver Kevin Curtis will not only play in this Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons but he will more than likely be listed as a starter in the lineup.

Curtis has missed the entire season so far with a sports hernia. He has been bothered by the injury since training camp.

The Eagles have sorely missed Curtis in the lineup so far this season.

Their offense has been lackluster to say the least in 2008 and needs to improve if they want to make a run in the second half of the season and have a chance at making the playoffs.

The confidence in the lockroom shot sky high during the bye week this week when Dallas was blown out by the Rams and the team learned of Curtis’ return.

Curtis adds another dimension to the Eagles offense.

He is a receiver that gives McNabb a down field threat with excellent speed and strong hands. If Curtis comes back and makes an effort on this team the Birds have somewhat of a shot to make the playoffs.
