Bye Week: Dallas Loses
During the Eagles bye week today they got to stay at home and scout their opponents within the division.
The Redskins beat the Cleveland Browns 14-11, the Giants beat the 49ers 29-17 and the Cowboys lost to the Rams, yes the Rams, 34-14.
So, a week after the Eagles were the only team in the East to win, the Cowboys are the only active team in the East to lose.
That’s right, one week after an embarrassing loss to the Cardinals in overtime, the Cowboys lost to the lowly Rams.
It was the Rams second win of the season, and second in a row against an NFC East team. Last week they beat the Redskins.
Tony Romo sat out with a broken pinky on his throwing hand in favor of backup Brad Johnson. Johnson threw three interceptions today against the Rams.
The Eagles can take a lot of positives out of this bye week and a lot of important tape to use against their divisional opponents later in the season.
