Unhappy Fans

I was perusing through the comments section on the Philadelphia Eagles website the other day and came across some very unhappy fans.

And they are unhappy for legitimate reasons.

The day the Eagles released running back Tony Hunt to make room for linebacker Tracy White the comments section of the website was brewing with activity.

Fans were voicing their displeasure with the team and their lack of significant player personnel moves.

It was the same day the Cowboys traded for wide receiver Roy Williams from the Lions. That’s right, a team with weapons out the butt traded for another one because they felt they needed to add more targets for either Tony Romo or Brad Johnson to throw to.

Hmm. Interesting. Thanks Andy and Tom Heckert for making such a splash on trade deadline day. You really proved to the fans in this city that you are doing your best to put a competitor on the field.

This is embarassing. Come on. You guys obviously left a lot of stones unturned this year. The current linebacking core is being beaten up against the run and you sign Tracy White…this guy will be released before the season is through.

The fans have a right to be unhappy and downright upset with the front office. They have yet to acquire a legitimate playmaker on offense the past three seasons but signed a third corner back in the offseason to the defense.

None of this makes sense and it seems like it never will.
