The Eagles need another win to keep up their momentum and are facing the perfect opponent on Sunday.
The Birds travel to Seattle on Sunday to take on the Seahawks and are looking to up their record to 5-3 for the 2008 season.
The Seahawks are missing their starting quarterback, Matt Hasselbeck, and are missing Deion Branch, a wide receiver, as well. Seneca Wallace will be starting under center on Sunday and he is inexperienced to say the least.
He has only started 6 NFL games in his career.
Seahawks defensive end Patrick Kerney was also ruled out for Sunday’s 4pm tilt between the two teams.
The Eagles need a win to keep their momentum going and the Seahawks are the perfect opponent for the Birds at this juncture of the season. They can keep pace with the Giants and Redskins in the NFC East with a win and could jump the Cowboys in the division standings, who are facing the Giants this weekend.
If the Birds can grab a win on the road it will be a major step in moving towards the playoffs for the 2008 season.

Now that the Phillies got the city of Philadelphia off its 25 year hiatus from winning a major sports championship, is it the Eagles turn?
The Eagles have never won a Super Bowl but they have won a handful of NFL Championships along the way; their most recent one in 1960.
They came a couple of points short of a Super Bowl title in 2004 when they lost to the New England Patriots 24-21 and haven’t been back to the title game since.
Donovan McNabb is fully healthy for the first time in a handful of seasons and the Birds are trying to make a run into the playoffs and to the Super Bowl to keep this city enamored with its sports teams.
Whatever the Eagles do this season they will more than likely be under the microscope of the city and the fans because of what the Phillies did.

This is one of those games that the Eagles should win hands down by 10 points or more but it is also one of those games that if not properly prepared, the Eagles could wind up losing.
The Birds are 4-3 and in last place in the NFC East and need every win they can get right now, especially with the Cowboys struggling without Tony Romo. Dallas faces the Giants this week who are 6-1.
If the Eagles’ offense is as dominant and effective as it was versus the Falcons then they should be able to beat the lowly Seahawks.
The Eagles defense will be facing an untested Seneca Wallace who is also inexperienced to say the least. If the defense plays the way it did against the Falcons and Matt Ryan then we should see a win that would improve their record to 5-3 and put them even closer into the thick of things in the East.
